Introducing Permission Slip Plus

In a world where every search, click and tap you make online is tracked, we know how hard it is to protect your fundamental right to privacy.

For nearly two years, Permission Slip has been working against the tide to help you reduce your digital footprint online. We’ve submitted over 2 million requests to ask that your data be deleted or no longer sold, and we’ve held hundreds of companies and data brokers to account to ensure they respect your right to privacy. Permission Slip is consistently working behind the scenes to assert your privacy rights and help make them work.

Today, we’re excited to announce Permission Slip Plus, an even more powerful way to reduce your digital footprint. Paid subscribers will have access to powerful automation and additional support from our team of data experts. With Permission Slip Plus, you’ll get:

  1. Automation requests to 100+ Data Brokers: We’ve identified over 100 data brokers who buy and sell consumer data. When you sign up for Plus, we’ll tell all of these brokers to stop selling your data.
  2. Help from Human Advocates: Historically, there are some companies we haven’t been able to submit requests to because the process is just too time consuming. We’re delighted that with Permission Slip Plus, you’ll be able to send requests to these companies thanks to the efforts of our data concierge team, who will work to send up to 25 of these requests for you annually.
  3. Easier Request Sending: Save time by sending opt-out requests in Bulk instead of individually selecting them with Plus.

Permission Slip Plus costs $59.99/year, or $4.99 month: a fraction of the cost of most deletion services. As always, your contributions make a difference in helping Consumer Reports advance our mission of a free and fair marketplace for all. We will maintain the free version of Permission Slip to keep the right to privacy accessible for all.
